Bath Record Office

A visit to Bath Record Office has been arranged for Wednesday 22nd February 2012 from 10.30 to 1.00 p.m. Numbers are limited to twelve, but we will arrange another visit if this one is oversubscribed.

Other Record Offices

Alan Strong has volunteered to try and co-ordinate some small scale outings to local records offices.

The idea is that he would act as facilitator, collecting names of members/members friends wishing to visit the records offices in the south west, tell them of others wishing to go to the same RO, then help sort out a convenient date and persuade one of them to drive!!

There are 16 ROs within 100 miles of Bristol:- Aylesbury, Barnstaple, Cardiff, Chippenham, Cwmbran, Dorchester, Exeter, Gloucester, Hereford, Oxford, Reading, Stratford-upon-Avon, Taunton, Warwisk, Winchester, Worcester.  The journey to these should not take more than about two hours. 

If you go to any of these offices and think you would like company for the journey or help with sharing the travel costs or if you would like to go but do not have transport, this could be for you.
