RECORDS OFFICE CLOSURE DAYS 2010:

Saturday 11th September

Advice and use of resources is free but we appreciate donations which help us to purchase more resources.  Non-members are welcome - just walk in and sign our visitors book.  You can also buy a range of books, fiche, CDs and vouchers to access records on the 1901 census and the familyhistoryonline websites.

When visiting our Research Room please do NOT sign in at the main Records Office reception desk but tell them that you are going to the Bristol & Avon FHS Research Room and you will be given directions if you need them.  Please do NOT use the Records Office lockers but take your belongings into the Research Room with you.

If you subsequently wish to use the Bristol Records Office search room, you WILL then need to sign in and deposit bags etc. in lockers.

There is a drinks machine and water fountain in the seating area outside of our Research Room and a cafe providing snacks and light lunches in the Create Centre next door.  Please do not consume food or drink in the Research Room!
