| BRISTOL CHILDREN WHO WERE EMIGRATED TO CANADA FROM 1871 THROUGH TO 1912 |
|
Some were orphans, some were deserted and some were sent by parents who were unable to provide for them. The children started their journey from the Workhouses, Industrial Schools, Reformatories and Ragged Schools in Bristol and also the Bristol Emigration Home for Girls. Some had brothers and sisters, others were on their own; all were emigrated without family or friends to start a new life in Canada. Click on the flag below to download a list of 1200 children. The file is in .PDF format you may view and search the data but you may not print or copy it. The list was compiled by Shirley Hodgson who welcomes enquiries: shirleyhod2@aol.com |
