The Society publishes a range of source materials, mainly on CD.  We also sell books and items published by others.  Use the menu on the left side of the screen to find the items you want.

Items can be ordered from the website, or purchased at meetings or at the Research Room.  We also have stalls at Family History Fairs and Open Days.

Our CDs contain files written in Adobe Acrobat and an Acrobat viewer is required to read them. Most computers will already have this installed, but it is also included on each disk. You can download the latest version by following the link on this page. The Acrobat  viewer will run on Windows 98SE, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0 and Windows XP. It will not run on earlier versions of Windows.

 

Our new publications are no longer being issued on microfiche, but a few documents are still available only in that format.  We are disposing of our stocks of older microfiche material, usually as sets. Some individual fiche are still available, and you should send an e-mail to shop@bafhs.org.uk for details of prices.

We do not currently offer an on-line order service and orders by post can only be accepted using the print-off form.

We normally despatch orders by return on receipt of order form and remittance.  Allowing for the occasional need to re-stock publications or for "shop-staff holidays", UK delivery should be within 14 days and overseas within 28 days.
