Dave's site has three themes: Bristol including a lists all the Mayors and Sheriffs of Bristol from 1216AD; W.D.& H.O.Wills, the famous Bristol tobacco company, there are some good photos of production methods in the 1920s; and there is a section on NAPIER family history.

David Shrapnell's site provides a profile of the roots of the family name in numerous variants but principally those of SHRAPNEL and SHRAPNELL. The current one name study has been carried out during a period of over 30 years by DAVID SHRAPNELL, formerly of Trowbridge, Wiltshire, U.K. Virtually all bearers of the name can be linked to ancestry in Wiltshire.
